Gabriela Puente was born in Puebla City in March 24, 1970. She writes since 1989 and she has participated in many cultural activities and projects. Currently she works for the project Nomada with the painter Ivan Montero.
She is member of the group di-verso and coordinator of the cultural centre plantaAlta.
She was a scholarship Holder of the FECA in 2005. She has participated in the International Poetry and Poetic Congress in the Philosophy college at the BUAP. She got the Inter-American Poetry Prize Navachiste 2005.

Her work has been published in different anthologies, supplements, magazines and newspapers. Currently she is working on her new book retrato hablado de un bilioso.
