lives in: Badalona, Spain

Odile Arqué (1960) was born in Badalona and has a degree in Catalan Philology. She writes to filter water from the well, recites for the joy of concelebrating poetry, and sings for the pleasure of vibration. To understand the underground beating of other languages, she also translates. She earns a living by translating and proofreading screenplays, acting as a lyricist and adapting children's opera booklets for singing, and giving speaking, reading and voice classes to actors and announcers. As a rhapsodist and singer, she has worked on numerous shows in collaboration with various artists. Among the most recent literary shows, Una paraula grega stands out, a tribute to Jaume Vidal Alcover, and No crec en tu, a textual composition by Víctor Sunyol on the Cant Espiritual by Palau i Fabre with echoes of the songs of Ausiàs March and Joan Maragall.
