Laure Gauthier is a multimedia writer, poet and author born in 1972. She lives and writes in Paris. She sees her texts as spaces of vigilance. In them, she questions both the place of sensibility, especially the voice and the sense of touch, in an ultra-rationalised world and the place of the document and the archive in the experience of individual and political violence. Most recently, she published kaspar de pierre (La lettre volée, 2017), je neige (entre les mots de villon) (LansKine, 2018) and les corps caverneux (LansKine, 2021). In March 2021, the transpoetic album Éclectiques Cités was released by the collective Acédie58. Her texts have a polyphonic dimension that creates a vigilant gap between the singular and the collective perspective.

This work continues through various collaborations with contemporary artists, especially in the field of sound (musical pieces, transmedia installations), questioning the relationship with reality and looking for possible ways to resist the general burial (material goods, photos, tourism, various events, etc.).

She wrote her first poetic text in German (marie weiss rot / marie blanc rouge, Delatour, 2013) and attaches great importance to translations and the notion of space between languages. Her texts have been translated into five languages (German, English, Spanish, Italian and Turkish).
