ik hoor geen klok geen getik niet één tik

je wilt het tik niet horen tik wacht maar
jouw tik klok jouw klok tik gaat nog wel tik tikken
niet één tik er tikt niets die klok bestaat niet
je denkt tik tikniettikniet tik tik niet! tik
en later tik de spijt: tik hij tikt niet meer
tik tikt nooit meer – tik wat als je tik spijt krijgt?
wat als je de klok verzint wat als het kind je spijt?

tick hear it ticks tick your clock ticks tick
my clock does not tick nothing ticks I hear nothing
you think tick don’t tick! tick don’t tick! tick
but you know tick the clock ticks tick
so you say tick it does not tick tick I hear nothing tick
I do not hear a clock no ticking not one tick
tick but it ticks tick your clock ticks tick
you don’t want tick to hear it tick just wait
your tick clock your clock tick will start tick to tick
not one tick nothing ticks that clock does not exist
you think tick don’t-tick-don’t-tick tick don’t tick! tick
and later tick regret: tick it no longer ticks
tick will never tick again – tick what if you tick feel regret?
what if you imagined the clock what if you regret the child?
tick you don’t know tick what you’re missing
I don’t know what I’m missing but you
