versteckte Kinder, deren Namen die Mütter

versuchte Wächter zum Lächeln zu bringen
und zählte abends die Haare
auf dem Fussboden eines Friseursalons

a day on which I forgot to wake
walked through streets
with new names
greeted strangers juste pour voir
I have hidden children
whose names
their mothers let fall from balconies
I have tried to make the watchmen smile
and at night
counted the hairs
on the floor of a hair salon.
