Esos viejos
con la muerte como almohada
que susurra en sus oídos
una canción de cuna
una canción de amor
van apretándose la vida
en esos guantes calcáreos
de calcio y de dolor.

Old Folk
angleščina
To the old folk … the men who are left
with their slow bodies, with their becalmed boats
to the men who are left with their minds in the wind
fishermen of breath
those …
they carry their silenced nets.
They get on, they get off their buses
they descend like white gods
like black birds
and fly between the seats
between the seamen’s bells.
They use a cane,
a cane of swords
warrior of the cards
in this tempestuous world
of nothingness.
To those, who irritate passersby
fearfully they climb up to the corner of forgetfulness
fearfully they climb up to the benches of silence
slow, wise, drowning in death
gathering calm
pulling bodies from the womb.
To the old women who burst into hissing laughter
to the old women who like terracotta pots display themselves
in colors, in windows, in silhouettes
to the old women who sing widow’s wails
and to the others who light candles on their balcony
for a man who has left, for a son who has died
I kiss their foreheads
To the old men who are left
in the pastures of death
I kiss their foreheads,
this, my forehead.
A fleeting kiss hidden in the seat
with a pair of luminescent earrings
that do not catch the eye
to be remembered, to be a memory
to be an bulging vein
an old woman in the flesh, a beloved woman
an old women who gently climbs into her window
I kiss their foreheads, my forehead.
To those old women who break,
are eaten up like crackers
crumbles of men
that fall into their unkempt hair
I kiss their foreheads, my forehead.
Those old folk
with death like a pillow
whispering in their ears
a cradlesong
a love song
they keep squeezing life
into those chalky gloves
of bone meal and pain.
Vikingo
španščina | Diana Vallejo
¿Si tus ojos me besan…
Si tus ojos me besan
Vikingo, has conquistado el espacio
yo mujer, yo universo.

Viking
angleščina
If your eyes kiss me ...
how to escape from your lips
your idea, your hungry fingers
My curious women?
If your eyes kiss me with or without fortune
and pluck my dreams,
you most sing to me, and play a tango
with only the silence of the secret
between you and me.
If you break your walk in my sphere
and you stay, I'll stop beating in elusive frequencies
and fly to your genius pattern
my center of gravity.
If your eyes kiss me
Viking, you have conquered the space
I woman, I universe.
La mosca
španščina | Diana Vallejo
Hay una mosca violenta
Que golpea en la tela metálica
Un bicho insistente
Que quiere salir, salir …
De ningún modo
Alcanzó los vidrios
Ni la orilla
Solo se dejo vislumbrar
Se dejó caer
Para volar, volar …
Soy como esta mosca
Molesta
A todo credo
No soy ficticia
Hay tentáculos
Glándulas salivales
Patas, ojillos
Para tratar, empujar…
Como esta mosca
Molesta…
Que zumba incrustada
En la tela metálica de la ventanas.

The Fly
angleščina
There is a violent fly
That hits the wire
A persistent bug
Want´s to go out, out ...
Not at all
It reached glasses
neither the bank
only leave glimpse
he dropped
to fly, fly ...
I'm like this fly
annoyed
to any creed
I'm not fictitious
there tentacles
salivary glands
Legs, small eyes
To treat, push ...
As this fly
Annoyed ...
Buzzing embedded
In the mesh of the windows.
Noches polos
destroza, aquellas fibras oscuras

Nocturnal poles
angleščina
There are nights like large buttons …
closing jackets
With people on heavenly pillows
and floating feathers of dreams.
Umbrella nights …
tremendous downpours distilled from souls
raging rivers of secrets and pains omitted
they intensify, they are silent storms.
There are heavens of closed eyelids
paired windows opening to freedom,
There are farewells that close balcony doors
and the heart is a letter read and forgotten
a kiss in the air
a drop of spilled blood.
Nights … poles
that change our lives.
North has its multiple personality
and a sun that doesn’t exist
It whispers to the frogs to stay quiet and they keep it
unravelling those dark fibers
and the moon loses its scarves …
Then … the multitudes open their eyes, confused awake

The other poet in the boat
angleščina
His anger is a wound that stirred the soul
he drinks his tears with fights and bangs
and threw away the family love.
His anger is an abrasive of spirals
daggers leading to water through the wind
he finds the way to do some scars
to the asphalt.
His anger, is a world
tends to call God ¡inept!
and he that forgives, listen …
never forgets.
His love is a fossil
like that tense cat spider in the roof
with hope of shadow.
Your anger …
is a swirl of sand
able to crack
the desert dunes …
So …
How was his love,
if his anger is a universal pleonasm?
How was your faith,
If your anger is like a rock in my throat?
What happen to the light of your eyes,
if your hates burn all around?
What a shame, that I did not know you then.

Monday, cat's lair
angleščina
Monday has a frog’s tongue
a cat’s claw in the window,
SPF 15 sunblock lipstick
I take the illusionary earrings from my eyes
doubts plague me and my chair
changes into a bland canapé
accomplice of the sedentary world.
Monday I set up my stall of élan
It’s up, I display a bit of tenderness
blurry between fears
maybe I’ll see Tibúl juggling on the power lines
or the Green Space Dog nonchalantly walking by,
yacking on his cell phone …
It’s Monday and my heart grows weary
unable to keep moss from covering hope,
from covering your unfiltered loves.
Kisses and farewells, Monday of my loves,
I’m leaving with my pole
to fish once more for my soul
for this body of humans.
