Iranian-American poet Kaveh Akbar says of Antrobus’s writing, “It is magical how this poet is able to bring so much together – deafness, race, masculinity, his mother’s dementia, his father’s dying – with what skill. Raymond Antrobus is an exploratory poet the likes of which you probably won’t find today.”
