Adam Wiedemann was born on December 24, 1967 in Krotoszyn, Poland. In 1991 he completed his studies of Polish Literature and Language at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. He afterwards worked as an editor for the literary magazine Studium and as an editor for the Zielona Sowa Publishing House. He has attended numerous literary festivals, f. e. The Days of Poetry & Wine in Medana (Slovenia), the Vilenica Festival (Slovenia) and the Poesiefestival Berlin (Germany), and he has also taken part in a variety of international writers’ workshops as well as having received multiple scholarships, f. e. Hermann Kesten Scholarship in Nürnberg (Germany), International Writing Program in Iowa City (USA) and the 36. Seminar Slovenskego Jezika, Literature in Kulture in Ljubljana (Slovenia).
