***[Väga tuuline päev, noori õrnu lehti lendab õhus]

Väga tuuline päev, noori õrnu lehti lendab õhus.
Siis vihm. Siis õhtu. Siis vein,
siis mõtlen: mis veel poleks olnud?
Isegi armastus, see kõvasti ülehinnatud kinnisvara.
Kui lähed vaatama, ainult raudteevagun,
mis peatub korraks, ja päike tõesti paistab
perroonile, roosidele, ootajatele,
ainult et sinul pole sellega mingit pistmist.

Tuul ajab ikka mere poolt pilvi üles,
loojangus on need dramaatilised,
valgus nagu mingist metallist.

***[A very windy day, delicate young leaves soaring in the air]

A very windy day, delicate young leaves soaring in the air.
Then rain. Then evening. Then wine,
then I wonder: what else could there be?
Even love, that grossly overrated real estate.
When you go to look, only a railroad car
that stops for a moment, and the sun does shine
upon the platform, the roses, those waiting;
it’s just that you have nothing to do with it.

The wind stirs up more clouds from the sea;
they are dramatic in sunset,
the light as if made of a metal.
