Mohammad Hossein Abedi was born in Tehran, Iran, in October 1968.

He studied Journalism and Communications and is a member of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ). Mohammad Hossein Abedi writes for various magazines and newspapers, and was chief editor of the magazine MEEYAR und KELK.

Abedi lives in Tehran as a poet, journalist, and editor, and currently works as an advisor to the Iranian theatre authority.
