In addition to poetry-writing, Kaur Riismaa (born March 24, 1986 in Tartu) is also a prose writer, playwright, a dramaturg, and an actor (the latter of these at least on life's stage, but on the actual one as well).

Riismaa is one of those, who made their debut online in Estonia's literary portals. He has studied semiotics, theology, and dramaturgy at various universities.
