Claudio Pozzani was born in 1961 in Genoa (Italy). Poet, prose writer and musician, he is appreciated in Italy and abroad for his poetic performances in the most important literary festivals in Europe, Latin America and Asia.

His poems have been translated into more than 10 languages and have appeared in anthologies and magazines of international contemporary poetry.

Pozzani is the director of several poetry festival and events in Europe, the “International Genoa Poetry Festival” (Italy), “Semaine Poétique de Paris” (France), ”Helsinki Runo” (Finland), “Musik&Poesie” (Munich, Germany), “BruggePoésie” (Belgium).

He is also the director of the “Commenda dei Poeti”, residence for European writers and poets in Genoa.
