blieb im Dunkeln, wo es keine Uhren gab,
als du draußen in Werbejingles rotiertest,
Sonnenlicht sandtest auf übergewichtige Massen,
ganz demokratisch, jede Perspektive vernichtend.
Als ich dich suchte in Paris, Venice, im Zentrum,
warst du nicht bloß abwesend, sondern ausradiert,
Schmierfleck auf falschen Marmorsäulen,
als ob die Welt nur eine Scheuerleiste gewesen wäre,
Autoscooter, wo du dir aus Blödheit blaue Flecken holst.
In der Wüste suchte ich dich, bei den Wasserfontänen.
In der Wüste, wo Denkmäler einstürzten,
in Betten und in Wichsspuren, in klebrigen Likörresten,
die in ihre Moleküle zerfielen.
Gott, war ich einsam als ich erkannte: wirklich, du bist überall.
Pascal erfand Roulette für seine Theorien,
wie wahnwitzig unglücklich all dein Wissen dich macht,
eher bringe ich mich um als noch einen Trick zu ertragen,
