Four inches of snow. The hive a hut
of silence and darkness.
I found a stick and scratched
a small translucent tunnel to the door.
Are you in there?
I've brought some light and air. No answer.

Vier Zoll Schnee. Der Bienenstock eine Hütte
der Stille und Dunkelheit.
Ich fand einen Stock und kratzte
einen kleinen durchscheinenden Tunnel zur Tür.
Bist du da drin?
Ich habe etwas Licht und Luft gebracht. Keine Antwort.
