Gleich jetzt, gleich jetzt will ich mich verwandeln
in einen ganz andern. Geht das? Weiß nicht. Ich
höre den Schneesturm heulen, ein Zug rüttelt an den Sachen
auf dem Tisch, dann ist er weg. Bin ich jetzt

verwandelt? Nein. Wohl nicht. Ich mache
das Fenster auf, es schneit herein, das ist
eine Wandlung, ich trinke ein Glas Orangensaft
mit Grapefruitkernextrakt

und werde im Gesicht fleckig, rotfleckig.
Ist das die Verwandlung? Ich schaue in den Spiegel,
wahrhaftig, jetzt sehe ich ganz anders aus.
Ein anderer Mensch. So einer will ich nicht sein.

Ich will mich verwandeln. Gleich, gleich jetzt, jetzt gleich
ein ganz andrer sein. Der Schneesturm
legt sich. Kein Auto fährt. Ob ich
mich verwandelt habe? Weiß nicht. Wohl kaum.

v nekaj drugega. Ali se lahko? Ne vem. Slišim
besnenje snežnega viharja, s prihodom vlaka zaropotajo
stvari na mizi, potem izgine. Ali sem se zdaj

spremenil? Ne. Verjetno ne. Odprem
okno, snega pada noter, to je sprememba.
Pijem kozarec pomarančnega soka
z izvlečkom grenivkinih pešk

in moj obraz lisasto pordeči.
Ali je bila to sprememba? Pogledam v ogledalo,
zdaj imam zares, povsem drugačen obraz.
Drugačen sem. Nočem biti takšen.

Rad bi se spremenil. Takoj, takoj zdaj, zdaj takoj
bi se spremenil v nekaj drugega. Snežni vihar
se umirja. Ni avtomobilov na cestah. Ali sem
se spremenil? Ne vem. Verjetno ne tako zelo.
