Kgafela oa Magogodi
faya sista
faya sista
she walks the pavements of my prayers. she smokes the holy grass of poem and prose. she rose from the loins of horizons with the sun in her palm. she the searing light of burning spears. she changes gears of my universe. she spills her oceans of flaming songs to the soil. she's the root that sprouts sparks of ancient shoots through grains of memory. she dances with history's skeletons. she tangos where no man goes.
she is a faya sista.
she opens her mouth in parables of lyrical uprisings. she speaks in tongues of unbroken eternities. her endless niles of lines flow for miles. she dwells in the troubled voice of landless spirits. she burns tattoos of questions on the skin of the land. she wants to know who buys the lies and sells the soil under conference tables. she says we sokol without our soil we are fokkol. that's why she throws petrol bombs of poems to free every grain of azania.
she is a faya sista
she's pregnant with seed of baby volcanoes. she's gives birth to bearded infernos. she's my book of rebelations. she 's pages beyond hooks of spooks. she will not marry the snake for a slice of carat cake. she moves in whirlpools of black magic. she casts rebel spells like no one else. she wrestles the arms of time. she swaps with sun with the moon. moon at noon sun at midnight. she floods her lights into the birth of a seamese nation in a crablikedance. heading sideways to landless futures. she tears away the gorgeous gear her venom wears. she cuts a scratch into history vinyl's to fetch the rhythms you want to erase she roams the rage of drum and base. she samples songs of stolen soil.
