Milena Marković, born 1974 in Zemun/Belgrade, is a poet, dramaturg and screenwriter. She studied dramaturgy at the Faculty of Performing Arts in Belgrade and graduated in 1998. She is not only considered one of Serbia's most important playwrights, whose plays are also performed internationally (including Wiener Festwochen, Steirischer Herbst, Schauspielhaus Zürich), but also one of the most important artists of her generation.
