Miguel Manso was born in Santarém in 1979. He is a poet with thirteen books published since 2008, represented in the catalogue of publishers such as Relógio  D’Água,  Tinta-da-China,  Douda Correria and Mariposa Azual. His texts are present in a significant set of anthologies and literary magazines, both Portuguese and foreign. He wrote, produced, and directed, with João Manso, the feature film “Bibliography” (2013). In the theatre, he collaborated with the company Cão Solteiro and the stage director Susana Vidal.

Since 2008, he has been invited to participate as a speaker in literary festivals, lectures, and public readings, inside and outside Portugal.

He lived in Almeirim and Lisbon; and now resides in a village in Sertã, where he has been running, since 2016, the Casa de Gigante – Associação Cultural Mandriões no Vale Fértil.
