Marta Podgórnik was born on June 2, 1979 in Gliwice, Poland. She is known as a poet, a literary critic and an editor. Podgórnik also teaches Creative Writing workshops in Wrocław and Kolobrzeg. Her poems have already been published in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Russia, Sweden, Great Britain, the USA, Italy and the Ukraine.
