listening begins when listening ends

and seeing begins when a bird

che noti quando il pensiero cessa e

l’udito comincia quando l’udito cessa

e la vista comincia quando un uccello

vola quando tu scivoli via da uccello

nero e gridi quando inizi a parlare

nella chiara luce e non puoi parlare di niente

se non di luce come se si trattasse della prima

luce se tu versi un’ombra sulla roccia

e dici la mia ombra resta

e la roccia sparisce se per adesso è vero

ed è bene osare impegnarsi a fondo

allora puoi chiamare per nome il deserto.

جڏهن تون بيهين ٿو، جتي خاموشي آهي

ته تون محسوس ڪرين ٿو.

جڏهن سوچڻ ختم ۽ ٻڌڻ جي شروعات ٿئي ٿي

جڏهن ٻڌهڻ ختم ۽ ڏسڻ جي شروعات ٿئي ٿي

جڏهن هڪ پکي اڏامي ٿو.

جڏهن تون هڪ ڪاري پکي جيان هيٺياهين ڏانهن اُڏام ڪرين ٿو

۽ رڙيون ڪرين ٿو.

جيڪڏهن تو شفاف هوا۾ ڳالهائڻ چاهين ٿو ته

۽ نٿو ڳالهائي سگهين، سواءِ روشني جي

ڄڻڪ اهاپهرين روشني هجي

جڏهن تنهنجو پاڇو پهاڙ تي پوندو آهي۽

چوندو هجي

منهنجو پاڇو رهندو ۽ پهاڙ غائب ٿي ويندو

۽ اهو سچ آهي

ته ٺيڪ آهي ڪوشش ڪر

تون صحرا کي نان ءُبخشي سڪهين ٿو.

خاموشين ۾ گهرپل تون محسوس ڪرين ٿو

جتي سوچ سلسلا ختم ٿين ٿا

اتان ٻڌڻ ختم لگئي ٿو اتان ڏسڻ شروع لگئي ٿو 

حد نظر تائين چکيءَکي اڏرندي ڏسين ٿو

پرجڏهن ڪاري پڪئي جيان تون

پستين ڏانهن پرواز ٿوڪرين

ته هڪ زور ائتي رڙڪرڻ ٿو چاهين

شفاف هوا ۾ جڏهن ڳالهائڻ لاءِ ٿو چاهين ته

لفظ تنهنجي نڙي ۾ اٽڪيو ٿايون

روشني جبل ساز ٽڪرائي جڏهن تنهنجي

پاڇي تي پوي ٿي ته تون چئين ٿو

هي جبل گم ٿي ويندو پر منهنجو پاڇو رهندو

جي اهو سچ آهي ته ڀلي ڪوشش ڪري ڏس

تو رڃ کي ڪوبه نالو ڏئي سگهين ٿو
