Born 1942 in Sofia (Bulgria)
Emigrated with her family to Israel in 1948 on the proclamation of the state.
Grew up in Jaffa where she wrote her first poem at the age of 9 in "her cave" in front of the mediteraneen.   
Started to publish in youth magazines at 12.
At 16 the newspaper Maariv organized a meeting of Sabina with the then most important poet  Abraam Shlonsky
Studied  at the Tel-Aviv  and  Jerusalem universities  English Literature.
Was about to get a scholarship, from the Israel-America fund, to  Redcliff college, but decided to marry Painter Aharon Messeg and lead a life of  simplicity, close to the land, in the style of Thoreau .
She lives ON AN OLIVE FARM IN WESTERN galilee

Has 3 grown-up children and 4 grandchildren:  

Has received several prizes.
Among them  the prime minister prize

Writes poetry for children as well (about 20 books and several prizes, including the highest - the Zeeve Prize)   under the pseudonym  Adula.

Her writing can be termed Ecopoetical.

Writes literary criticism  and Ecopoetic articles in the literary supplement of  Haarez.
