Nina Kibuanda was born in Kinshasa, Congo in 1977 and moved to Paris when he was 12 years old. He is a „Slam Comedien“, who got in touch with Rap at the age of 13, becoming a member of the group „Ligne de Mire“. Five years later, inspired by friends and teachers, he developed a liking for words. At the same time he became interested in theatre. During his education he came across an excerpt by Rap Brown's „Die Nigger die“ which he performed in a course. It was then his teacher discovered his talent for Slam and introduced Nina to the Slam communities in Paris, a revelation which let him abandon Rap to concentrate on Slam.

Since 2000 Nina Kibuanda is enganged in Slam Poetry and active in initiatives bringing Slam to kids, young adults, and adolescents going to schools as well as homes for the aged. He is active for institutions like Universalisapo (La Roche-sur-Yon), and Jeunes Africains de France (Nantes), Pirates Primates Production, Alice, Monsieur Mouch.

Together with his friend Bruno Vieillescazes he wrote and performed various texts, for example „Les Baisers de ma Solitude“. He is both an organiser and participant of many Slam events in Paris, Issy-les-Moulineaux, Cherbourg, Nantes, Angers and other cities.

From 2002 to 2007 he acted in various theatre plays. He played the leading role in „Liliom“ by Férenc Molnar with la Compagnie du Désordre, and played Glagoliev in „J'ai mal à Platonov“ after Tchekhov, Bourgmestre, as well as the President in „L'Opéra du Dragon“, an adaption of a Heiner Müller play, with la Compagnie Guépard Echappée. His most recent roles include Dembourou in „Kaïdara“ (an adaption of „La vie s'appelle Lâcher“) by Amadou Hampathe Ba with Universalisapo. In 2008 he directed Sarah Kane's last play “4.48 Psychose”.

Nina Kibuanda started working in an inter arts project with singer Wee-Lye and Jazz musicians like Emmanuel Bigot and Jammaria Crookling from 2006 to form the group Ninslamjazz. He is also working with Maikez and traditional Maloya music from Réunion, slameuse A.N.N.A., and singer and slammer Mya Barakaa.

Since 2009 he works as a stage director for Jeunes Africains de France.
