Anne Seidel studied Slavonic Literatures and Eastern European History in Giessen, Minsk and London. Her debut 'Chlebnikov weint', which was published by 'Poetenladen Verlag' in Leipzig in 2015, was selected for the 'Poetry Recommendations of the German Academy for Language and Poetry' and was awarded as 'Best Poetry Debut of the Year' at the House for Poetry in Berlin. In 2020 the bilingual volume 'Khlebnikov pleure' was published in a translation by Laurent Cassagnau by 'Editions Unes' in France. Her poetry has also been translated into English, Russian, Italian, Macedonian, and Turkish and published in national and international anthologies.
