***[Skalpell ja metronoom]

estonian | Doris Kareva

Skalpell ja metronoom
mu isa klaveril
enda vahel hoidsid vaikust,
kui ma olin laps.

Nüüd alles, aegamööda,
olen hakanud kuulma,
mõistma
nende kummalisi lugusid.

Imeõhukeseks ihuvad need aja.

***[Keď som bola dieťa]

slovak

Keď som bola dieťa,
skalpel a metronóm
na klavíri môjho otca
striedavo držali ticho a napätie.

Až teraz, s postupom času,
som začala vnímať,
a chápať
tie ich čudne dospelé príbehy.

Ako si naostro plynie čas.

***[„Ai!“]

estonian | Hasso Krull

„Ai!“ „Palun vabandust.“
„Ai! Palun vabandust.“ „Ai!“
„Palun vabandust.“ „Miks?“
„Palun vabandust, et ma sind hammustasin.“

„Ai, palun vabandust!“ „Ai!“
„Palun vabandust! Ai!“
„Palun vabandust, et ma sind hammustasin,
kui sa ütlesid ai.“

„Palun vabandust.“ „Miks?“ „Palun vabandust.“
„Palun vabandust, ai!“ „Miks?“
„Palun vabandust, et ma ütlesin ai,
kui sa mind hammustasid.“

„Ai!“ „Palun!“ „Vabandust!“ „Ai!“
„Miks?“ „Vabandust, ai!“ „Palun vabandust,
et ma palusin vabandust,
kui sa ütlesid ai.“

„Prečo?“ „Prepáčte mi au!“ „Prosím prepáčte
mi tú prosbu o prepáčenie,
keď z vás už vyšlo au.“

***[Tee sees on augud]

estonian | Hasso Krull

Tee sees on augud. Maa sees on augud.
Kui astun edasi, märkan: saabastes on augud.
Sealt paistavad sokid, mille sees on augud,

Piisad löövad, mina kuulen, sest mu kõrvades on augud:
seisatan ja hingan, sest mu nina sees on augud,
kõnnin edasi ja mõtlen. Jah, mu mõtetes on augud.

Minu sõnades on augud. Lao-zi meelest oli
kõige rohkem vaja tühjust -- aga ütle, sõber,
milleks tühjus, kui seal poleks aina
augu kõrval augud? Suured augud. Väiksed augud.

Olemine on augud. Sünd ja surm on augud.
Universumis mustad augud -- ehk saab sealt välja,
kuhugi, kus on võib-olla teistmoodi augud.
Väljapääsud on augud. Suu, süda, soolikad -- augud.

***[Táto cesta je samá diera]

slovak

Idem a myslím.

iba z dier. Celý vesmír dier. Diera na diere. Dieriská. Dierky.

Diery proste sú. Životodarne všeobjímajúce. Zrodenie aj smrť sú diery.
Aj každý kozmos definuje iba diera, ehm, čierna – onen povestný otvor
do iných končín plných dier.

endurtekningar,
merkingarleysur, stúfar,
uppskafningar
og lágkúrur
stundu í takt við
gný dauðans
þegar húsum reið
japanskur bragarháttur
með krosslagða fætur,
eitt orð yfir annað
af allt að því óskammfeilinni
Ró.

Síðust féll haikan sjálf á hnén,
rak upp stríðskvein,
lyfti sveðjunni hátt yfir höfuð sér,
og rak sig í gegn.

… a slovo bolo pritom s Clintom

slovak

Na prekvapenie takmer všetkých
sa zrazu haiku prehnalo krajinou
ako v nálete tesne nad zemou,
a pravidelnou vrtul'ou
sekalo metrum
hlava-nehlava.

Armády vol'noveršovej poézie
boli rozsekané na franforce
epištoly krvácali na múroch nárekov
vyvracali krv v cezúrach.

Kuplet lásky
ronil slzu za slzou
ako panna na usedavej vál'ande
ešte vlhkej po minulej noci
vzlykal èosi dojemné
ale aj tak schytal svoje ako ostatní.

Aj šampióni najt'ažšej lyricko-epickej váhy
– so svalmi, ktoré vošli do dejín –
èakali horeznak s kolenami od seba
odpísaní, na doraz, raz a ešte raz,
nezostali veru ani oni ušetrení.

Paralely, opozitá,
tézy, antitezý,
leitmotívy, stopy,hyperboly,
paraboly,
už z posledného stonali do pravidelných rytmov
virvary hrdelnej porážky,
ked' sa zrazu ukázalo, že uletené japonské
metrum
prehučalo pol'ami.

bledý tieň sestry…

…to, čo presvitá z krehkých tiel rastlín
i z jesenných smútkov, z tvárí dievčat

Sedíme naproti sebe: ja a televízor.
Naše pusté tváre padajú do noci,
zlomené a čoraz viac podobné tieňu.

Tieňu bledému ako tvoje pery, sestra.

Zastavený melanchóliou pred čiernym jazerom,
stojím a pozerám, ako časom rastie tieň.
Nehybnosť odviala stopy,
iba krídla tu môžu pomôcť.
Ale tieň je priťažký, sestra.

a faint shadow of a sister...

...that which emanates from fragile translucent bodies of plants
and autumn melancholies, faces of girls
frightened by coming of age.

Lips split open by a word.
To greet.
Farewell
with being untouchable.

Beyond the walls of flesh and grilles of bones
A cornered soul.
Wading through the dark, the shadows illuminate your way.
As you grasp a precious brooch,
the shadows don`t let you breathe.

We sit facing each other: the TV and I.
Our desolate faces fall into the night,
broken and ever more resembling a shade.

A shade as faint as your lips, my sister.

Halted by a melancholy, right before a black lake
I stand and watch a shadow grow through time.
The immobility blew all tracks away,
now nothing but wings can help.

But alas, the shadow`s all too heavy, dear sister.

Zvláštna nutkavá potreba supermarketov

slovak | Peter Šulej

zvláštna nutkavá potreba supermarketov
eóny eónov uložená v našich synapsách
umelá príroda s umelými chodníkmi
turisti skauti sokoli odvážne po eskalátoroch stúpajú
mimo mesto v objatí viacprúdových diaľnic betónový ostrov slobody
zachváti národ pri výletoch pri piknikoch… všetci zajedno
masívne útoky dobre plánovanej reklamnej kampane
v prísne vymedzenom epistematologickom poli lovíme informácie: potraviny
konceptuálne inštalácie anonymných umelcov v najdrahších galériách sveta
(oh god! fuck the art!!!)
ústavy pre výskum mimozemskej inteligencie
otázniky a odpovede nad talianskymi cestovinami
naplnený dávny surrealistický sen

Strange pressing need of supermarkets

english

strange irresistible need for supermarkets
eons of eons embedded in our neural synopses
artificial nature with plastic walkaways
tourists scouts hawks daringly ascending on escalators
beyond the town embraced by multilane highways there is a cement island of freedom
crazes the nation on trips picnics... all as one voice
massive attacks of a well planned ad campaign
in a strictly staked epistemiological field we do fish for information: food
conceptual installations of anonymous artists in the world´s richest galleries
(oh god! fuck the art!!!)
extraterrestial intelligence institutes
qs and as over italian pasta
the old surrealist dream fulfilled
as piano meets a computer

Zjavné & utajené výhody globalizácie

slovak | Peter Šulej

sú;
bozkávať teba my little china girl z mesta pod Andami

bezproblémovo skákať z punku do establišmentu
konečne a limitne aj perspektívne
na periférii popovej kultúry
s rovnakými mediátormi a obľúbenými domovskými stránkami
píšeme verše o cudzích zážitkoch ako keby boli naše
a hrdinovia večera zvyčajne nie sú hrdinami rána
našťastie rýchlosť premien ostáva neviditeľná
tak tancujeme veselo tancujeme
spolu

a
(nikdy som to naozaj nezažil)

veď preboha
pôvodne nikto nechcel
obsadiť do záberu s digitálnou technikou Japonca

a beloba papiera nás už viac neoslepuje

zjavné & utajené výhody globalizácie
sú – určite sú…

Apparent & covert advantages of globalisation

english

they are,
kissing you my little china girl from a town under the Andes
with (hispanic-jewish) forefathers scattered all over Europe
how come you are here? no longer do I wonder
at dicreet charm of globalisation –
the ability to use any serial port
the chance to avert the spell of a proud tower from the beginning
see the beautiful butterfly has stirred her wings

all of our art under the same stars
we don´t create but manage to extrapolate and weave a synthesis
have no trouble to take a leap from punk to establishment
finally and limitly, and with prospects
on the periphery of the pop culture
with the same mediators and favorite home pages
we produce verses on alien experiences as if they were ours
and heroes of the night tend to be different from the heroes of the morn
fortunately the speed of change remains invisible
as we dance merrily dance
together

and
axis mundi has arrived at every corner
pushing out stoned hookers from the adjacent sidewalks
that means that „You are the God“
I know... I have been cried that at too
but only when something really powerful takes place – like:
a fall of the far too ripened and juicy cherry to the ground
who would ever come to senses of the world?
(I have never seen that happen)

for god´s sake
I mean no one ever wanted
to cast a Japanese into a digital technology shot
and, still, he is still there
laughing at the course of
polaroidisation of the world
a snapshot after snapshot suggests
that every remembrance is not necessarily mine

finally after being cured of psychoanalysis
we peer at architecture even though you know best:
we´ll never be able to embrace the entire construction
but it is still worth a try,
though possibly not the most original of all

there
see there there
the church beyond the brewery is not by Plečnik
although looking identical
starting a new technology generation?

never mind
after spicy curry with fine droplets of sweat on the forehead
we all produce tears
and will no longer be blinded by whiteness of paper

apparent and covert advantages of globalisation
exist – definitely exist...

somewhere...

a kryštalizáciou zdanlivo mizivých
foriem, ktoré rastú do anjelskej krásy,
aby preukázali nesmierny úspech dávnej platónskej optiky,
ktorá umožňuje všetkým nahým očiam
precitnúť do živého projektu spracovným názvom Republika.
Sneh si neustále padá, zjavuje zvýšok
snepoškvrnenou nehou, čo odkazuje na uhrančivú
bielu Michelangelovej vízie
magickej kupoly, ktorá vyžaruje nepostihnuteľný prst stvorenia
na všetky možné fraktálne smery
organického rastu dávno zabudnutého apotláčaného priestoru na dýchanie,
ktorý konečne vychádza na svetlo adelí demokraticky,
šíri sa ponad malé horizonty akraje, aby mnohým duchom mladým spravil deň.
Sneh stále prebleskuje a zjavuje, tak dávajme pozor a dýchajme, spojení prekladom.

Bent over we search for the hand that melts into the snow.
The snow is no cheap salad, no piece of cake, but comes invoked
by our shared tilt to inspiring modesty
- it finally falls, ever since the last of wars, to establish one tranquil
whole over all of Europe.
The universal snow is brought about by mutual translation
and crystallisation of seemingly petty
patterns that rise to grace
to reveal a great revival of Plato´s ancient optics
enabling any naked eye
to awaken to the living thing coined Republic.
The snow keeps emerging from above,
with this immaculate grace, alluding to the alluring
whiteness of Michelangelo´s vision
of radiant cupola mediating the impalpable finger of creation
in all possible fractal directions
of organic growth of the long forgotten and suppressed breathing space
that is now finally brought to light and shared democratically,
beyond small horizons and fringes, to make many a youthful their day.
The snow keeps manifesting, so let us watch out and breathe in a joint translation.

Program je program

slovak | Peter Šulej

program je program
celý čas nám ležal rovno pred očami
ach pokým sme neprišli na to že
program je program

a
zdanlivo
nezanechal informácie o svojom vzniku
o svojich cieľoch & opusoch
prečo a hlavne načo taká rozmanitosť
úloha rýchlosti našich strojov a kryptografie
opakujem: program je program

a pritom interpretácia sa nemusí javiť zložitejšia
od čítania Mechúrika Koščúrika dieťaťom
ktoré v nás stále drieme roky neprebudené
povie len:

program je program

nehovorí nič o svojom konci

Program is program

english

program is program
all the time it has been lying right before our eyes
oh until we figured out
that program is program

and
apparently
did not leave any info on its origin
on its goals & opuses
why and chiefly what for all this variety
all of the universe in every single module
why the hell did install it here?
the intricacy, zig-zaging in the loops of history?
it feels like playing a game of blindfolding with us
in the gardens of genetic structures
the role of  speed of our machines and cryptography
let me repeat: program is program

and interpretation does not have to seem any more complex
due to reading Dino Barney by a child
that has been dormant in us for ages
it will just say:

program is program
apparently
saying nothing of its end.

NAČO NÁM DALI MOSTY KEĎ NÁM ZOBRALI RIEKY?

slovak | Michal Habaj

pijú z nich nebesá slnko štebot vtákov i ty

do televízorov v každom mávnutí krídel

otvárať videosekvencie ich životov a malých smrtí

nájdeš prameň kde ešte žijú slová čisté a sväté
jazyk dievčat ich niesol dnes tých dievčat niet
a slová ležia v ústach starien popolavé čakajúc
na jazyk čo pricvála hnaný krvou nevinných

//sú to ešte naše slová medzi yes a no?//

v mene Otca i Syna i Ducha Svätého Enter

//sme oheň z ktorého šľahajú krídla vtákov
navždy pripútaných do budúceho popola?//

WHY DID THEY GIVE US BRIDGES WHEN THEY TOOK OUR RIVERS AWAY?

english

(dedicated to Valdemarr van Staveren van Dijk)

the wind hushes its breath so pretty are the hairstyles of the girls
the little wooden chapel is praying for their souls
which lost in bank machines beg for so much mercy
as will sustain the account of their lightandeasy faces

they lay them like translucent cups under the heaven
till they are full with the first sprinklings of the snow
the heavens drink from them the sun the chirrupping birds and you
always when the years are flowing on but life is at a stand

//are these still our souls between escape and delete?//

look once again at the birds flying away for the winter
into television sets with every wave of their wings
heaven is narrowing till it will leave only a wrinkle
a cursor pointing the same way from time immemorial

nothing to see on the screen now but the flutter of the faces
that the girls lay on the surface of the disks
they glitter far into the night as long as your credit allows you
to open the videoclips of their lives and little deaths

//are these still our bodies between play and stop?//

night squats over the city like a black butcheress
the spittle on the innocent is draining into her mouth
these on their knees are washing their faces in the mists
eight centuries old in the distance against the river’s flow

will you find a source where pure and holy words are living
the tongue of girls once bore them now there are no such girls
and words lie in the mouths of crones ashygrey waiting
for a galloping tongue driven on by the blood of the innocent

//are these still our words between yes and no?//

the country crucified on the screen is a picture
of the pain of those who breakfast in an armchair on the cross
and the longdead gaze in each other's faces as if watching
a film that never saw the sun going down

this earth beneath our feet is the cross that we carry
we bow our heads and sign out of the internet
we receive the host and copy it on a diskette
in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit Enter

//are we a fire from which the wings of birds are thrashing
fettered forever to the future ash?//

NAD PORTRÉTOM DVORNEJ DÁMY

slovak | Michal Habaj

Medzi tebou a mnou
niekoľko zanedbateľných storočí
povieva v okne ako záclona.
Sú: diván, kreslá, svietniky na stoloch,
obrazy v ťažkých rámoch, vázy
a chodba, ktorou si v takýto slnečný deň
prešla, celkom samozrejme,
akoby sa toto nikdy nemalo skončiť.
Nepoľujem na prízraky, iba čakám,
kedy cez jemnú pleť plátna
presvitneš hlbšie do miestnosti.
vsiaknu do tvojej pomalej 11-ročnej krvi…
Nikdy neprejdem tú cestu,
ktorou sa zemeguľa prekotúľala
od teba až ku mne.
A keď vychádzaš z dverí, niet ma,
iba oči mi vlhnú tvojimi slzami.

OVER A PORTRAIT OF A NOBLE LADY

english

Between me and you
a few negligible centuries
flutter like a curtain in a window.
Here they are: a divan, chairs, candlesticks on the tables,
paintings in thick frames, vases
and a corridor that you walked through on
a sunny day like this, quite at ease,
as if this were never to come to a close.
I do not hunt for specters, only wait
for you to glisten deeper into the room
through the fine fabric complexion of the screen.
Beyond the windows the sun sets and petal by petal,
the roses and your face withdraw into innocence
at the close of summer, just before
colors of the paintings and odors of the gardens
can soak into your gracious 11-year-old blood...
I can never walk the road
that the Earth rolled over
all the way from you to me.
When the time comes for you to move on, I am gone,
and it is your tears that wet my eyes.

Možno Možno

slovak | Peter Šulej

možno je moje meno možno /
možno je stratená báseň
ktorú všetci tak úpenlivo hľadáme
na najnepredstaviteľnejších miestach
kde sa možno môže dostať len možno

možno chce byť spravodajským dôstojníkom tejto výpravy
preto na seba zobral identitu možna
a zelené sneženie zrazu vykryštalizovalo do obrazu

možno som to ja
možno je moje meno možno

(ten kto mi nadiktoval túto báseň
možno pozná odpovede)

May be May

english

my name may be may
may is a poem lost
that we all so desperately strive to rediscover
and search for in the least plausible places
where only may may ever be allowed

only because it  – may indicate a will to liaison the present mission
that is why an officer may have acquired identity of a may
and green snowballing suddenly crystallised into a clear picture
that hides a true spectre of the net – it, may

may is a name of a magician, an oracle
a secret formula classified in the dossiers of a ministry of hocus-pocus may be?
or what continues is nothing but a mirroring system?
well, it may

it may be that inter day span makes some breaking news of transformation
as all delayed stories turn out to be stories lacking a definite point
as the temporal turnes into eternal
and may into dismay

may grows in all seasons of every year
may is a tree and wind and rain and the sun moon siblings
and it may be of an ancient semitic tribe that may have bore the name of may
which may no longer be possible
to atriculate

may may be a Mr. Somebody but may as well may be Mr. Nobody
may may be me
may may be my name may be

(the one who dictated me this poem may know the answers)

Mýtotvorca

slovak | Peter Šulej

odvážne pristupuje k fin de millénaire
s projektom novej legendy

dlhočizná niť medzi koánom a matematikou
bola raz navždy pevne natiahnutá)

rozšíriť mýtus o univerzálnom module
zapracovať ho do všetkých synaptických spojení
povedať: „Je to niečo ako Svätý Grál,
len my už teraz vieme, čo všetko robí.

a ostáva nám ešte množstvo životov
ach omyl to len hrdina
zmenil súbor vzťahy)

mýtotvorca unavene
zavrel oči
zjavil sa známy tvar: korýtko rybničné
s ním budete letieť
ku hviezdam

Mythmaker

english

courageously approaching fin de millénaire
with a project of a new legend
as the old are so worn out
fit for nothing but a remix
of  code sets and re-dis-interpretation

(hence it all started with a Rubic cube

we even saw forests changing before our eyes
and a long thread has been stretched
once and for ever between a koan and math)

to spread a myth of universal module
work it into all synoptic connections
and cry: „It´s a kind of HolyGrail
only we know what it can do.
What exactly? Everything. Evrything!“

to do that was not easy at all

(from our ruined docks
we saw phantoms of fragmentarisation sticking out
we fired at them thinking this is a computer game
and we still have a hell lot of lives.
Oh, error, that was just a hero
altering the file relations)

the mythmaker tiredly
closed his eyes
a familiar shape appeared: a shell
that´s what you´ll fly
to stars

MÁRIA Z PETROHRADU

slovak | Michal Habaj

a Mária už opäť kráča Petrohradom.

„…stačí byť nehybný v nehybnom
a mnoho tisíc odlietajúcich vtákov
preletí tvojím pohľadom,“
poviem a ruka Márie usína mi v dlani.

MARIA OF ST. PETERSBURG

english

A wing of eternity flashes above a serene night
and momentarily envelops the temple like flesh to a soul.

Poplars are snowballing,
and Maria turns her cheek to memories,
Maria is fixing her hair,
caring, glorious Maria of St. Petersburg.

"Let´s be together forever at least for a moment,"
I say, but Maria keeps walking in the 19th century.

Poplars are snowballing,
Maria tenders her soul with dreaming,
but the soul is a migratory bird
and Maria is back in St. Petersburg, walking.

" ... it´s enough to become immobile within the immobile
and many a thousand departing birds
will fly through your gaze,"
I say and Maria´s hand falls asleep in mine.

Der Fuchs, weißt du noch, wir verletzten
sein Territorium mit unserem
Erstaunen: Seine Stunde, sein Feld.

Jenseits der Mittellinie gemessen
wir, stolpernd, stockend, Vertreter der Wut
die hier in die Schule ging.

Er stand ganz ruhig, ganz eingefremdet
die Kastanien im Hof, die uns sogar
im schlimmsten Sommer die Aussicht nahmen

auf Hitzefrei, soufflierten ihm
was gegen uns sprach, den Puls, den Impuls
anzutäuschen, das nervöse Spiel des Gelauschs: es

es hinkt, klingt nach
Eisen in ihm – keine Frage, wir
waren es. Wir waren es.

Lyssa

slovak

nadšenia, s ktorým tou školou zbehli do života.

nervózna hra strihavých pohybov uší: to ona

zrazu pokrivkáva, ozval sa cudzí
kov - všetko je jasné, my
sme to boli, toto sme boli my.

DAMASK

slovak | Michal Habaj

Táto noc ťa hryzie lunou v tvári.
Ostré zuby veží zažíhajú hviezdy nad mestom,
čierne nebo sťažka klesá do záhrad.
Spievaš si, princezná z laboratórií,
zatvorenou tvárou spievaš si,
v komnatách nehybných a pustých,
na míle vzdialená vyoperovaným tepnám.
Storočie stroje krehké ako vtáčie srdce
brúsili ťa v hlboký šperk. Dnes
kyborgovia imitujúci rokoko, dvoria ti
s rukami vo vesmíre, ako vo váze s kvetmi.
Napudrovanou tvárou a kovovým telom
líhajú s tebou do mäkkých lôžok z mäsa.
Krvácaš jemnejšie než ruža bozkávaná vánkom
a predsa to nie je krvavá hĺbka tvojho kvetu
čo v kyborgovi vzbudzuje túžbu vanúť.
Pod balkónom spievam o tvojom perleťovom pohlaví
a z veršov tkám neviditeľnú cestičku úteku.
z Kybérie do Bratislavy a Dunaj
je iba nitka v obruse z damasku,
keď pri šálke čaju noc ma zastihne.

DAMASK

english

This very night bites you with the moon in your face.
Sharp glistening teeth of the towers lit up the stars above our city,
as the black sky falls heavily into the gardens.
You are singing, dear princess of laboratories,
you are singing with your face shut,
in the chambers void of a soul, desolate,
miles away from the extracted veins.
The centurian mechanism frail as a bird´s heart
has been cutting you into a deep diamond. Today cyborgs
are imitating rococo, courting you
with their hands in the universe as in a vase of flowers.
Powdered face and iron-bodied,
they lay down with you in soft beds of flesh.
You are bleeding, even more subtly than a rose kissed by a breeze,
and yet it´s not a well of blood deep inside your flower,
that makes a cyborg want to blow and fly.
There I am, under a balcony, singing out your nacreous genitalia,
weaving my lines into an invisible path of desertion.
In this boat, like in a déja-vu, we´re floating
down from Cyberia to Bratislava and the Danube
is nothing but a little thread in the Damask napery
as the night catches me by surprise near a cup of tea.

Besuch in Leiden

slovak

Z triesky sa stal trám, píše Mahler
po návrate domov, kamkoľvek (New York
zostáva na dosah) a Freud zasa v pochybnosti
ako po záludnej rozprave
akoby tá tuhosť mohla vypovedať
o architektúre, z ktorej ju náhle vytrhli.

Táto bolesť už nemá smer,
z tohto Leidenu sa do nového sveta vracia,
gestami krotiteľa nad hĺbkou,
ktorá sa chystá vyznieť. Všetko krátko,

čoskoro nový rok, zrazu apríl,
čo dvíha Atlantik. Na ňom
tancuje démon
tancuje so mnou, vábi ma

za okraj známych nôt,
kde miznú vznešené koncepty, Tak ďaleko nesiaha
ani tajná moc bolesti, objaviteľské vlny sa vracajú,
v zápale srdce už dávno zhorelo,
no vták v predklone privádza celý kŕdeľ,
sťahovavú rozkolísanosť, loď v búrke
ktorej horúčka vniká pod rebrá, do hĺbky, a končí v šťastí.

V ZÁMOCKOM PARKU

slovak | Michal Habaj

akoby padali kamene zo srdca rytiera v srdci medirytiny.

Popýtam o ruku tieň vlastnej ruky, čo ma pohladí,
popolavé nebo odráža to isté popolavé čelo.
Prach padá na naše duše a vesmír cinká šepotom úst,
krvácajúcich do lona mŕtveho Slova. Plavé dvorné dámy
roztvárajú barokové oči ako vejáre, v ich jemnej pleti
vädnúce slnko zapaľuje krv, z ktorej sa krúti Zemeguľa.

Roh jednorožca a či McLaren mihne sa mojim zrakom
a zapadne hlboko vo mne. Cvaknú zuby, keď
umelá inteligencia zbiera slnkom napuchnuté tulipány.
Trubadúr opitý vínom z ruží sníva pieseň, čo roztvorí
pery hologramu a viečka nechá klesnúť na šedé obrazovky.
Zlatistá kader leží v dlani a rozvoniava čínskou kuchyňou.

Cez zastretú obrazovku vidím decentnú spoločnosť nad planétou
a feudála, čo širokým schodišťom vstupuje do apokalypsy.
Medzi prstami držím atómy, jadrové hlavice a satelity

IN A CASTLE PARK

english

It is me, returning after all these years or else centuries, ma princesse.

Nothing, but Europe has grown old in the maps, and the seas gotten all lined and
                                                                                                       wrinkled,
my pale ash-grey forehead mirroring the sky of the same look.
Eyes heavy, as if belonging to somebody else, traversing
pages laden with child erotica, yet disembodied
among the inescapable sadnesses of l´amour courtois. As the centuries fly away,
it is as if stones were falling from a knight`s heart in the heart of a facade.

I´ll ask the shadow of my hand for its hand, which will be so tender,
my pale ash-grey forehead mirroring the same look of the sky.
It´s the dust falling on our souls and the universe clinging with the murmur
                                                                                              of mouths
bleeding into a womb of the deceased Word. Fair-haired dames of the court
unfold their baroque eyes like fans. And it is in their fine complexion
where the wilting sun still teases into life the blood that keeps the Globe in motion.

The horn of a Capricorn or a McLaren flashes and whizzes across my sight
only to descend and park deep inside. A jawbone claps as
the AI collects all kinds of sun-swollen tulips.
The troubadour drunk from a wine made of roses, he dreams a song
that will click open the lips of a hologram and let the eyelids fall on grey screens.
A golden lock nests in a palm and smells all around of the best Chinese cuisine.

Through a staticky screen I can see the esteemed congress above the planet
and a feudal who walks down the wide hall right into an apocalypse.
Between my fingers I am still holding atoms, nuclear warheads, and satellites
they wash the crumbling walls of our Earth,
vivisected with a timely hand. I can´t grasp any other hands
that have never touched artificial matter. I can just raise my bleeding mouth from
                                                                                                        the stone,

from the stone that touched your skin ages ago, dear princess.
