De la capăt

drumul se întinde în faţă
ca o pagină
arsă de la un capăt

sunt prins în ghetto şi pot doar să conduc
până la autobuz
apoi să mă plimb în cerc
în oraşul meu
gândindu-mă la cuşca mea
şi la tine

inima mi-e ruptă
în somn respiraţia adoarme
câinii îmi smulg din plămâni
şi eu mă gândesc la salvarea lor

când de fapt totul e atât de simplu
undeva acolo s-au prăbuşit visele mele
undeva s-a rupt firul
tu te întorci
unde eu nu am voie
să trec graniţa

şi singura reacţie pe care
pot să o am

e să-mi fac obiceiul de a borî
când te conduc la autobuzul cu
drumul
ars de la un capăt

the road stretches ahead
like a piece of paper
burnt at one end

i’m stuck in the ghetto and only can drive
to the bus
then wander in circles
in my city
thinking of my room
and you

my heart is broken
asleep my breathing sleeps
i tear dogs from my lungs
and wonder how to save them

but really everything is so simple
somewhere or other my dreams collapsed
somewhere the thread snapped
you go back
where i am not allowed
to cross the boarder
and the only reaction
i can have

is my habitual puke
when i take you to the bus with
the road
burnt at one end
