움켜쥔 마침표 하나

내 주먹 속 작은 마침표 하나
내가 내 심장의 안전핀을 뽑아 움켜쥔 점 하나
현미경으로 보면 집채만할 지도 몰라
뇌염모기처럼 주먹을 물어뜯고 있지만
육안으로 보면 그저 조그만 점 하나
돋보기 아래 어젯밤의 내 미친 방을 놓고
햇볕을 모아서 태워버렸어
정오의 태양 아래 타버린 그 방을 굳세어라
주먹 속에 넣고 혼자 서 있는 이 참담
담뱃불로 지진 살이 점점 가려워질 때
드디어 희망이 썩어버린 네 뒤통수
그 마침표가 가려워, 참을 수가 없어
밤을 수축시켜 제 그림자에 가둔 전구의 필라멘트를
움켜쥔 것처럼 뜨거워, 앗 뜨거, 견딜 수가 없어
피를 가득 머금어 드디어 정신이 나가버린
내 심장을 더 이상 이렇게 가눌 수는 없어

Winziger Punkt in meiner Faust
Den ich festhielt, die Zündnadel aus der Herzgranate ziehend
Unter dem Mikroskop vielleicht so groß wie ein Haus
In meiner Faust sticht er wie eine Malariamücke
Nur ein Punkt mit bloßem Auge
In der Linse sammelte ich die Sonnenstrahlen und verbrannte damit gestern
Nacht mein fiebriges Zimmer
Unter der Mittagssonne brennender Schmerz
So allein in meiner Faust
Und stärkeres Jucken an der Stelle, an der mich die Zigarette
Verbrannte, als im Hinterkopf jede Hoffnung verreckte
Juckend heißer Punkt, nicht auszuhalten
So heiß wie ein Glühfaden in der Hand, die Glühbirne
Verkleinert die Nacht zu ihrem eigenen Schatten
Heiß, zu heiß, nicht auszuhalten
Soll doch endlich bluten!, der Punkt, soll doch mein fieberndes Herz
Endlich explodieren

KIM Hyesoon gehört zu den populärsten und meistgelesenen Lyrikerinnen Koreas. Sie hat mit überraschenden Sprachschöpfungen dazu beigetragen, der Lyrik in Korea neue Wege zu weisen und die tradierte „männliche“ Sicht der Dinge auf den Kopf zu stellen.

Schon mit ihren ersten Gedichten schlug sie ein neues Kapitel in der koreanischen Literatur auf: Sie ist eine Poetin der Metropole Seoul, in deren Labyrinth sie ihre Sujets und Themen findet. In Ihren Gedichten spiegelt sie die Sehnsüchte einer in dem Treibsand der Krisen und Heilsversprechen orientierungslos gewordenen Gesellschaft. Der Ort, an dem die Menschen ihre Sinnfragen stellen, ist nicht mehr die Natur, sondern das Kino und die High-Tech-Universen Ostasiens.
