Mani Rao (b.1965) has authored ten books and chapbooks of poetry including Love Me in a Hurry (Atta Galatta 2022), Sing to Me (Recent Work Press, Australia), New & Selected Poems (Poetrywala), Ghostmasters (Chameleon Press Hong Kong), and Echolocation (Math Paper Press Singapore).

Her poems and essays are in such journals and anthologies as Indian Literature, Poetry Magazine, Fulcrum, Wasafiri, Meanjin, Washington Square, West Coast Line, The Penguin Book of the Prose Poem, W.W.Norton Language for a New Century and The Bloodaxe Book of Contemporary Indian Poets. She did immersive fieldwork among tantric communities in Andhra-Telangana for Living Mantra: Mantra, Deity and Visionary Experience Today (Palgrave Macmillan/Springer 2019)Her book-translations from Sanskrit include Bhagavad Gita and Kalidasa for the 21st Century Reader (Aleph) and Saundarya Lahari (HarperCollins 2022). Hinzufügen
