Katarína Kucbelová (1979) was born in Banská Bystrica and lives in Bratislava.

She published books of poems Duály (2003) and Šport (2006). A selection of her poems was published in A Fine Line, The Arc Antology of New Poetry from Eastern and Central Europe (2004), Slowakische Anthologie (2006), and several other magazines and anthologies in the Slovak republic and abroad.

She works as a culture manager. She is organiser of the literary prize Anasoft litera and the international literature festival Ars litera in Bratislava.
