Benihana is written in Maori, Hawaiian, Japanese, Samoan, English, and some Hindi/Urdu. Rocky is Hiroaki Aoki, the founder of the Benihana restaurant chain. Omikuji is Japanese for fortune slip and the type of the cookie often associated with Chinese restaurants. The fortune cookie was "allegedly" introduced to America by the Japanese in the early 20th century. Che Fong, Duke Lukela, Kono Kalakaua, and Chin Ho Kelley were characters in the original television series Hawaii Five-O.
