im untergrund was hier versickert wer geht,

This is the last attempt

This is the last attempt: far behind us
furrowed land the tongue frozen locked
in the jaw for days I walk out to the very edge
light falls downward we sway and dig below
the surface for what has trickled away who goes,
whom do we follow the net is closing tight
rooted feet the footprints spied
the tidelands is a seam on which you rely
and a hand that won’t stop shaking
