My fragmential home

1. Of Love

My love is sleeping with open eyes
my everyday sleep with open eyes
walking on the rope with the closed eyes –
it is so easy.
All you need is to manage
to close
the eyelashes fixed with wax,
then you will manage to move
the mountains, the sawed bones,
the limbs cut.
it hurts,
but some can cope.

2. Suliko

“an object is considered to be a treasure
only when its owner is unknown and it has been
buried for a long time”
(civil code, article 192)

I’m looking for the grave of my love
I buried him alive
I buried him alive
I cry,
Aiming salt bullets into the eyelids –
such shooting was often
my pastime.
One day he asked me
- Just let me go

I’ve let him. Now who will give a hope?

I buried him alive -
a hungry hero wandering
in someone’s life.

I am looking for the grave of my living lover.

3. Lullaby on the background of car signals

My child is a morning star
When waking up he glitters.
My child is an evening star
When going to sleep he glimmers –
the wheels, the horns, the steps
are covering the roads,
the pavements, the squares
throw rusty coins with care
at us - for price of glitter.

4. Lullaby for my mother

Close your eyes –
A lie is a sure cure
Close your eyes –
father is almost near
Close your eyes
this dust is a wing of an angel
Close your eyes
the angel is sitting at angle
Close your eyes
the lie will cure your illness
get rest from love,
sleep, get into happy stillness.

My love is sleeping with open eyes
my everyday sleep with open eyes
