A mirror hung on the back of the door.
I lived in the order
of its smallness.
I lie here next to you
and feel the distance
from the walls.
If I held you closer
we would fit
onto a narrow bed.

Я привыкла жить
Я привыкла жить в маленькой комнате
с узкой кроватью
и телеэкраном в ногах.
Зеркало с внутренней стороны двери.
Я жила в строгом чине
этой малости.
Я лежу тут рядом с тобой,
физически ощущая
расстояние до стен.
Если прижаться к тебе теснее,
будем ровно впору
для узкой кровати.
