… Schlaf
الألمانية | Christian Filips
ein Gletscher, jahrtausendealt
meine Hand.
Und in ihr ein Ziehn ... wohin?
Halt! Da-Greift etwas
Das
fühlt sich an
wie jeder
wie peitschendes
Leder wie Schnee

… Slumber
الانجليزية
… Slumber
a glacier, millennia-old
my hand.
And inside of it a pull …where to?
Hold on! A-Grasp of something
That
feels like
any body
like whipping
leather like snow
Der Platz hat
الألمانية | Christian Filips
einen Turm
gar nicht weit von mir,
hier.
(Noch steht er, unbeweglich
regungslos da)
Der Turm: eine Aussicht
die Aussicht
hat Zukunft. Diese Zukunft –
hoch, die!
immer höher
schwindelnde
wendelnde
Treppe! –
hat Zeit.

The Space has
الانجليزية
a tower
not far away from me,
here.
(Still standing, stiff,
stone-still)
The tower: a prospect
the prospect
has future. This future –
up, up to the!
higher and
higher swindling
inspiralising
staircase! -
has time.
ein weißer Schnürsenkel-
الألمانية | Christian Filips
Blitz jetzt. Das ist
Mamas Hand, wie sie knotet! –
Verknoten beibringt mir
ihm beibringen will: sie
sitzt ihrem Sohn gegenüber
bindet die Senkel,
so, beide Hände
Hände beide linksrum in der Schlaufe
weiß sie
– wierum? sorum? Löffelstil
gleich selber, nein hierum!
nicht mehr –
ach spiegelverkehrt,
Mutter Gottes!
Bald schnüren wir ihn
Bald er uns

a white shoelace-
الانجليزية
Flash now. This is
Momma´s hand, how she knots!-
How to knot she teaches me
wants to teach him: she
sits in front of her son
ties the laces,
so, both hands
hands both anticlockwise in the loop
does she
-which way? this way? shoehorn-style
even herself know how, no, this way!
not any further-
oh, mirror-inverted,
Mother of God!
Soon we tie him
Soon he ties us
Ich sitze da, wo du mich sitzen lässt
الألمانية | Christian Filips
auf deines Vaters Mauer, hoch dort oben
(Landschaft mit Kranich, Schilf
und Brise, weiter hinten)
höre ich dich
an dir vorbei ...
und höre
einen Flussgott, jung
der an die hohe, hehre
strullt (Mauer in der
Abenddämmerung)
Peter Engstler Verlag,
Audio production: Haus für Poesie / 2017
I am still sitting where you left me high and dry
الانجليزية
on thy father´s wall, high far up there
(Landscape with crane, cane
and gale, far back)
I hear you
past you…
and hear
a river God, so young
who at the high, the noble
pees (wall in the
evening´s gloaming)
Wie Wasser kocht,
الألمانية | Christian Filips
erwarte ich den Liebsten.
Der Liebste kocht in mir
wie Wasser kocht.
Bedingungslos der Liebste
sprudelt – Ich
koche Tee.
Und sehe – selber Blase –
Blasen lieben.
Erst bin ich vier, dann Viertel
nach, dann sieben. Erst siede,
dann koch ich.
Dann Rauch.

As water boils
الانجليزية
I wait for the Beloved.
Within me the Beloved
boils, as water boils.
Without a cause Beloved
fizzes – I
make tea.
And see – myself a bubble -
bubbles making love.
First I am four, then quarter past
four, then seven. First simmer I,
then boil I.
Then steam.
