DEVER GERAL DE RECOLHIMENTO
Na cozinha do rouxinol
toda a música é agora incestuosa
pelas novíssimas divindades do lar
atrás do qual o coração treme e teme
sempre prematuramente
mas sempre

In the nightingale’s kitchen
all the music is incestuous now
and even the metal on the old saucepans
is complaining about the ease
with which the music creates shortcuts between realities
The kitchen had become the playroom
with its chessboard with no white houses
with its panther fixated on the length of his eyelashes
with its klaxon announcing the next cinema session
neither spoken nor visual
It was in the kitchen that they perfected the excrement
where they glued wings on the backs of the domestic angels
where they nurtured the hope of killing with a mere insult
where they finally accepted the confusion between illicit and illegible
where they could recognise by smell the initial voice of guilt
Through the crack in the door left ajar
through the brand-new houseold gods
I see that in the kitchen of insomnias
the second brain is welcomed as if it were king
among the hot broths and steaming potions
made by children who know their herbariums
hesitating between poison and ambrosia, venoms and delicacies
And through the wicket gate
behind which the heart trembles and fears
I imagine the shared kitchen being rebuilt
thanks to the warm clay of strange words
incorporating children and crimes
as if these were synonyms for the large bed where one is born
always prematurely
but always
