Maud Vanhauwaert was born in 1984 in Veurne, Belgium. She is a writer and text performer. She also hosts concerts and literary events. She released her debut collection of poetry entitled “Ik ben Mogelijk” (I am Possible) in 2011. In 2012 she represented Belgium in the World Championship of Poetry Slam in Paris.

Maud obtained a master degree at the Drama Conservatory of Antwerp. Moreover she has a bachelor degree in Literature and Linguistics and an extra master in Professional Communication, completed at the University of Antwerp.
