Maitreyee B Chowdhury is a Bangalore based poet and writer. She has four books to her credit, The Hungryalists, One Dozen-Hasan Azizul Haque (Trans), Uttam Kumar and Suchitra Sen- Bengali Cinema's First Couple and Where Even the Present Is Ancient: Benaras.
