The poet Lucía Estrada was born in 1980 in Medellin, Columbia.

She has been working as an organizer of the international poetry festival of Medellín and as an editor of the literature magazine Alhucema, Granada, Spain. Estrada participated in several literature and poetry festivals all over the world.

Dreams and the night, language and the procedure of writing and the secret of life are frequent motifs of her poems.

Her work as been translated into various languages, such as English, German, French and Italian and was published in several south American and Spanish anthologies.
