Eka Kevanishvili was born in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1979. In 2002 she graduated from Tbilisi State University's Journalism Faculty. She published three books of poetry in 2006, 2010 and 2013.  In 2013 she received the literary award “Saba” for the best poetry book for her collection Selling the House. Eka Kevanishvili's poems are translated into English, Lithuanian and Russian language. She has been working as a reporter for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Tbilisi bureau since 2008.
