The Catalan duo Accidents Polipoètics, made up of Rafael Metlikovez (Canovelles, 1964) and Xavier Theros (Barcelona, 1963), have been an enormous success in their homeland, and are two of the most important contributors to the current Catalan 'oral poetry' scene.

Since the start of the nineties they have managed to take poetry to unimaginable places. They've taken part in countless recitals and festivals; and it's in their live show where their real force comes to the fore, transforming poetry into a live spectacle - surreal, biting, and very funny.

The duo produced a CD called “Polipoesía urbana de pueblo” (Por Caridad Producciones, 1996), and more recently, published a book called “Todos tenemos la razón” (La tempestad, 2003), which contains a compilation of their poems, other pieces of writing, and commentaries about their career.
