Patrice Delbourg was born in 1949, in Paris, and lives there still. He is a poet, novelist, critic, collaborator and friend to the show Papous dans la tête, which airs on the French radio station France-Culture. For a long time he was a journalist at Nouvelles Littéraires and at L’Evénement du Jeudi.

He is the author of works that bear witness to his various poles of interest: humour, diary writing, chanson francaise, “jeux médiatiques”, sports, and forgotten writers.

He is the winner of the Max Jacob prize, the Apollinaire prize, and the Société des Gens de Lettres prize for his books of poetry.
