Laura Wittner, born in Buenos Aires in 1967, works as an author and translator. She studied Literature and worked for the English newspaper Buenos Aires Herald for several years. In 1985 she published the collection of narratives Pintado sobre una jaula, in 1996 her first volume of poems El pasillo del tren. Several others were to follow.
