lyrikline is an ongoing project since 1999. Since then we could add at an average every day new translations and every week a new poet.

Our main concern for the new site has been how to keep the constantly growing and hardly manageable content accessible. One of the ideas we've realised is the introduction of thematic and formal categories. But we are, after all, only at the beginning of the process of sorting the content.

In the next few months, editors, network partners and authors will be continuing to work on the huge job of providing headwords and allocating categories. The end can only be open. O course not every poem will fit in one of the categories, but that's fine, it doesn't have to.
